It seems a expensive journey and long term commitment to have to commit to more than one or two hair transplants and have to take hair restoration medication It's a lot of messing around by the sounds of it I don't think I could be bothered with all the mess I think just keep the head or hair shaved to stubble and get on with life

Just an FYI. I started Locklab in April and I went to my doctor today and he complimented me on my hair! I actually have bangs again. My hair was sort of wispy and I had missing hair near the crown in the back. My frontal hairline isn't fully back but if I had to say I would say it is back to what it was 15 years ago.. I can send pictures. It is pretty dramatic. But it took four months pretty much. I hope to see even better results. I do have some hair growth on my arms that I never had before but no real side effects. I am sold on this.

You guys are totally nuts. Being on Finasteride is a MUST are you kidding me?? I've had 5 FUE procedures myself so I know how important that is. Sometimes I'm even ashamed to admit how much money I lost on hair transplants. But I'd NEVER take Fin, I took it for 2 weeks and IMMEDIATELY my erections got weaker & libido decreased, with a weird feeling of apathy & less energy. I literally flushed it in the toilet. Make no mistake: all those RUclips "experts" who claim it's ok are trading their boner & sex drive for hair, and the side effects % is at least 10%. Do you really want to mess up with your hormone balance which may be irreversible in the long run??? There are natural things I'm using to maintain my hairline like microneedling, LLLT helmet, rosemary oil, coffeine shampoo, daily scalp massage and other. Saw palmetto is a natural DHT blocker which works fine for me. Guys, you really must be batshit crazy to risk your overall health/well-being by taking Finasteride to save hair. It's not a good trade-off

I have been doing laser preventative treatments for almost 16 years now, but I finally got a hair transplant this past month. My hair receded over the years, probably when I was in my 20s. I went to a hair doctor when I was in my 20’s and the doctor told everything I needed to know. 30 years later I still had a head full of hair, but my forehead was a bit higher . I lower the hair on my forehead with 2300 grafts, adding to the sides and the top. I feel like I am 21 again. It really has made a difference. I waited 6 years, but I should gotten it done 4 years ago.

I've had 5 hair transplants myself (1FUE and 4FUT). I'm seriously looking into a 6th but the remaining donor hair greatly concerns me. I've had 2 surgeons say you have remaining hair but I fear they're looking for money? I only get FUT. You should do a video on your 5 surgeries and how many grafts you've had in each. When you see yourself from a side view, it's crazy that in 20 years from now you'll still have that well structured thick hairline. You've made right decisions! To everyone stressing over hair loss. Finasteride is NOT optional. You MUST be on it!

Hairloss is complicated. Let's start with the different types: 1. Horse-shoe shaped 2. Corners on the sides 3. Bald spot on the back of the head 4. Diffuse 4. The latter can be dealt with fibers. 3. To cover the third one a man-bun or a beanie(or other head-wear clothing item) is practical. 2. For the second one comb-overs can be done. 1. And the first one is the most likely one to get a hair-system. The age of the subject as well as the agressiveness/intensity of the hair-loss and how fast the remaining hair grows also plays a role. Hair/skin color-contrast is VERY important as well, hence why black(african/indian) or blonde(nordic) guys look better thinning;balding than mediterranean or other light-skinned folks with black hair do.

Pretty bullshit reasons in my opinion, dude just hates that he lost so much hair he’s not really eligible for hair transplants. And they don’t buy you more time, if you get on medication you don’t need to worry about losing the rest of your hair. Hair transplants if done right, are for life.

I’ll add a tip: get on finasteride several months before surgery. This way you know if it’s something you can tolerate.
